Scenography - collaboration with Joana Subtil and Toninho Neto for “Carmen”, a dance show in Almada.

In this project developed for Almada Dance Company, we created the scenography for the recreation of the opera “Carmen”, by the French composer Georges Bizet, turned into a contemporary dance performance.
Four scenarios were created:
“the industry”, with smoke inside the “towers” and the dancers dancing around it;
“the bar”, where glasses were floating in the air and the dancers pulling them down and up playfully;
the cleaning moment;
the “gold square” (taurus arene) made with fire blankets.
