WORKSHOP with students from local schools - Object and Performance
Starting from photography and drawing, the students were proposed to turn these into three dimensional objects and performances.

Combining education with artistic creation, Futurama brought together artists from the most diverse disciplines – from performance to visual arts, dance to music – to develop projects with students from secondary schools in Mértola, Castro Verde and Beja. Stimulating imagination, creativity and empowering students with artistic expression methodologies, the result of each of these processes could take the form of an installation, a performance, an intervention in public space or any other format yet to be explored.
From the exploration of the city, a creative universe was built around public space and the relationships established with each body and objects. Afterwards, the exercise of observing shapes in this common space gained an unexpected three-dimensionality: the recording invoking an object. Finally, together with me,the young people developed a performative sharing about this mental journey and the making of this.
